Akinola Ogbeyemi is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan under the supervision of Dr. Chris Zhang in the Advanced Engineering Design Lab together with Dr. Lori Bradford of the Engineering Design Mutualism Lab.
I completed my BEng in Production Engineering from the University of Benin, Benin City Nigeria graduating at top 1% of his class (4.366/5.0), followed by a MSc research study in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, also graduating at the top 5% of his class
I have significantly contributed to the field of manufacturing and service systems with published papers in reputable journals. I also hold valuable experience in 3D printing, Mixed Method Research, Social and Cultural factors in engineering management and decision making.
My research area is on Social and Cultural factors in Engineering Design and Construction Decision Making with a special attention to Indigenous community healthcare facilities in Saskatchewan, Canada
